Jolly nice of you to grace us with your presence here in cyberspace and to very kindly mention my name to all and sundry re DGH photos.
I have to advise you that Winnie, like you, is not one to get on the net as frequently as I do. I had to call her on your behalf to relay your message knowing she would never get to see it otherwise.
She says to say hello to you and for me to give you her email address.
When you write her dont forget to say what a good boy I am just like little Jack Horner was!J
I was just combing through some of the messages and couldn't help but remember you as being the first nurse SMH to greet and look after my brothers, sisters and I as we entered the Homes. Quarintine was a strange beginning before we despatched off to our respective cottages.
Did anyone help you with the photographs you seemed to want? Errol has a huge archive and I would be surprised if he did not have at least a couple for you.
Would love to hear from you. Hope you and your family, wherever you are, are well.
Hey Warwick! Glad to see you managed to find this site again after months of looking for it on the net. Perhaps you need broadband there in the never-never ;)
Regarding my last comment; I was trying to wake up Rip Van Gundlach but instead woke up his younger brother, Rip Van Lee! eW
Gee Errol, I thought I might get a mention from the Head Prefect for posting a dozen or so photos? Or perhaps this is a 'nudge' to post a few more? Guess I had better get the scanner back in to action....
Hi you two chota chokris (mischievous as ever and in dire need of toonking on the daab)
To Linda C: I have already taken it upon myself to offer assistance to the damsel in distress by way of photos. She remembers me as a little chokra from her era. She was abs kush to get a call from me!
To Chrictine C: you are abs right I have now become a kanjoos with my 100 +photos as I seem to be the only one contributing same apart from a few from Mr Gundlach (may he retire in peace) who, it appears, has ventured into Neverland somewhere near a place called Shillong, never to be heard from again. I believe the 'long' in Shillong refers to long silence from all who venture there.
